According to The Telegraph, Rangers and Celtic may face a wait to find out if they can sign West Ham United winger Grady Diangana.

It’s claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to take a look at Diangana during pre-season training before making a decision on an exit.

Diangana is a wanted man, especially on loan, but Moyes wants to see whether he can compete with his current wingers.

The 22-year-old could provide an exciting wide tandem with Jarrod Bowen, but Moyes does have a number of options on the flanks.

Diangana starred on loan at West Bromwich Albion this season, hitting eight goals and seven assists under Slaven Bilic.

West Brom want him back, but there is major interest in Scotland too. The Herald reported earlier this month that Rangers had made contact about a deal.

Celtic want Diangana too, but Rangers are moving having missed out on signing him last summer, with Steven Gerrard seeking a new right-sided winger.

Moyes may now leave both of the Old Firm sides hanging though, and few would blame them if they moved on to other targets given that the Scottish season starts in August.
