The West Ham United winger has impressed since his temporary move to Aston Villa.
West Ham United manager David Moyes has told Robert Snodgrass he wants him back at the London Stadium next season, according to the Sunday People (May 6th, page 53).
Snodgrass was loaned to Aston Villa before Moyes’ November appointment, and has scored or created 21 goals in 39 games for the Villans.
Steve Bruce’s side are guaranteed a fourth-place finish ahead of Sunday’s season finale, and promotion via the play-offs – a feat achieved by Snodgrass and Bruce as Hull City employees two years ago – remains on the cards.
But a return Aston Villa, who according to the Sun on Sunday (May 6th, page 64) want Snodgrass as part of a £25 million triple swoop involving Sam Johnstone and Lewis Grabban, could yet be scuppered by West Ham.
Snodgrass, 30, moved to West Ham in a £10.8 million deal in January 2017, but failed to impress previous boss Slaven Bilic in his 15 Hammers outings.
