According to The Daily Mail, David Moyes wants to land two signings for West Ham United over the next week – Jesse Lingard and a new striker.
It’s claimed that West Ham are looking to do a late deal for Lingard, after he was left out of the Manchester United squad to face Liverpool on Sunday.
Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion also want to sign Lingard on loan, but Moyes is now pursuing a reunion with the midfielder.
Moyes worked briefly with Lingard at United, but sent him on loan to Birmingham and Brighton for first-team experience.
The 28-year-old has barely featured for United this term, and it’s clear that he needs to move on in order to play first-team football.
With just a week of the window to go, West Ham now need to get moving, and fringe United ace Lingard isn’t the only signing he wants.

Moyes also wants a striker to arrive at the London Stadium, having seen Sebastien Haller leave for Ajax earlier this month.
So many strikers have been linked with West Ham, but no deal currently seems close, meaning there is a lot of work to be done for Lingard and a new striker to be brought in over the next seven days.
