David Moyes believes Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is tailor-made for his high-octane style of football at West Ham United, as reported by the Standard.
Things change quickly in football and, in the blink of an eye, an Arsenal academy graduate has gone from a regular starter to the forgotten man of the Emirates.
It is fair to say Nketiah, who has played just one minute in the last ten Premier League games, is not exactly happy about his reduced role.
“It’s been a difficult last month or so. I haven’t played as much as I would have liked,” the 21-year-old admitted in March.
So a summer move from one part of London to another – whether temporary or permanent – may be exactly what the doctor ordered.

The Standard reports that Moyes is a keen admirer of Nketiah, believing the striker’s insatiable work ethic and affable character would make him a perfect addition to a tight-knit West Ham dressing room.
While Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen have adapted brilliantly when asked to play in a number nine role this season, an old-school, penalty-box poacher like Nketiah would give Moyes a more natural option through the middle.
Despite starting just 12 games for Arsenal in 2020/21, Nketiah has still scored five goals.
