Could the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder be on the move this week?

According to Tutto Mercato Web, the agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko met with Inter Milan on Tuesday morning as he bids to resolve his client’s future.
The French international only arrived at Spurs last summer, signing on deadline day from recently relegated Newcastle United. But he has failed to live up to expectation and could already be deemed surplus to requirements, despite Tottenham’s failure to significantly strengthen in key areas with time running out to do so.

Now 28, Sissoko will understand the importance of playing week in, week out with a World Cup on the horizon, and with regular game time unlikely at Tottenham it could be best for all concerned if he moved on before Thursday’s deadline.
According to TMW, Inter and Sissoko’s representatives are still some way apart in terms of negotiations but talks are expected to continue over the next few days.

As things stand, it seems another deadline day move could be on the horizon for a player many Tottenham fans felt their club did not need in the first place.
That said, what Spurs require is new faces of their own, with another striker and an additional winger seemingly vital to their title hopes.
