Moussa Sissoko reportedly wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur may have to pay a chunk of Moussa Sissoko’s wages in order to facilitate his departure this summer.
Spurs inexplicably completed a big-money move to sign Sissoko on deadline day back in August 2016, despite his struggles during Newcastle 2015-16 relegation campaign.

The former Toulouse man did impress for France at Euro 2016, but many felt that Spurs were making a huge mistake by signing the midfielder – and so it has proven.
Sissoko, 27, made just eight Premier League starts for Spurs last season, failing to register even a single goal in any competition whilst registering only two assists in a dismal campaign.
Unsurprisingly, Spurs may want to ship Sissoko off their books after less than a year with the club, with the Daily Mail also reporting that French international is keen on leaving North London as well.
However, it’s claimed that his £85,000-a-week wages are proving to be a stumbling block in attempting to sell Sissoko, and Spurs may end up having to contribute to his wages in order to let him go.

Marseille are believed to be interested in taking Sissoko back to France this summer, but don’t want to meet those wages – leaving Tottenham to consider supplementing his pay packet to facilitate a deal.
Daniel Levy won’t love the idea of selling Sissoko for a loss and then contributing to his wages with another club, but with Mauricio Pochettino having no use for him and the midfielder wanting to leave, a compromise may well be need.
