According to the Chronicle, Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko is now waiting for a firm bid from Real Madrid for his services.
The midfielder had been heavily linked with a move away from the cub this summer following their relegation to the Championship.

Speculation about his future has ramped up since Euro 2016; where he put in a series of impressive performances for France as they made it to the final of the tournament.
So far no bids have been made for his services, despite several teams having been linked with a move.
The latest club to be linked are Real Madrid, with Spanish newspaper Sport claiming they are planning to make a bid.
So far one has not been made, and the Chronicle now reports that he is waiting for the La Liga giants to make a firm offer for him before deciding on his future.

It remains to be seen whether they are willing to pay Newcastle United’s £35 million asking price for his services.
The Magpies sold Georginio Wijnaldum to Liverpool for £25 million on Friday and will be determined to get their asking price should Sissoko leave also.
