Everton and West Ham United have both been linked with Porto’s Moussa Marega.

According to The Mirror, Porto striker Moussa Marega wants a move to England this summer amid links to both Everton and West Ham United.

Marega, 26, earned his move to Porto in 2015, as 15 goals in 34 games for Maritimo handed him his big switch, but just one goal in 13 games saw him loaned out to Vitoria Guimaraes last season.

After smashing 14 goals in 31 games last term, Marega was back in the fold for Porto under Sergio Conceicao, and his record for this season stands at 22 goals in 33 games.

The Malian hitman is now attracting interest, with The Mirror claiming that Marega wants a move to the Premier League, given that Everton, Swansea City and West Ham United are all thought to be keen.

A £35million release clause exists in Marega’s contract, and whilst Porto may not be able to claim that kind of money, he should still command a huge fee given his goalscoring exploits this season.

News of Marega’s desire to move to the Premier League should be appealing to striker-needy West Ham, as his pace, power and versatility would be valuable no matter who the manager is next season.

However, Everton may just be leading the race, given that Marega’s agent Aziz Ben Aissa recently told A Bola last month that the Toffees have been in contact over a deal this summer, meaning West Ham and others may have some catching up to do.
