According to AS, Real Madrid are plotting a move to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.
It’s claimed that Diaby has caught Real’s eye, and they now have positive reports on him having scouted him intently this season.
Compared to Sadio Mane, Diaby is now valued at around €40million (£34million), with a big summer move potentially on the cards.
The report claims that Arsenal actually held talks with Diaby’s agent last summer, and it will now be much harder for Leverkusen to keep hold of him.
Le10 Sport stated that Arsenal had a great relationship with his representatives but they weren’t able to get a deal done.
The 21-year-old has hit nine goals and 12 assists this season, continuing to shine for Leverkusen whilst leaving Arsenal with a sense of regret.

It may now be too late for the Gunners to get back into the race for Diaby, with Real Madrid potentially offering a very appealing move to Spain.
Add in that Arsenal have a number of options out wide now, and the window of opportunity to sign Diaby looks to have passed, but they may hope that Madrid signing Diaby would help them keep hold of Martin Odegaard.
