Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is wanted by Everton and West Ham United.
According to The Mirror, Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is likely to wait until the end of the season to decide his future as speculation mounts over a January move.
The Bhoys swooped to sign Dembele in a bargain deal back in the summer of 2016, and they have been repaid handsomely with a stunning goal return from the French striker.
Dembele, 21, has hit 40 goals in just 69 games for Celtic, becoming one of the most in demand young strikers in Europe over the last 18 months.
Celtic have shot down Sky Sports’ claims that talks have been held with Brighton and Hove Albion over a deal to sell Dembele in January, but speculation persists over his future.
The Mirror now report that Everton and West Ham United are both closely monitoring Dembele’s situation ahead of their own potential moves, but the striker himself may wait.
It’s stated that Dembele may wait until the end of the season to make a move, spending the rest of the season scoring regularly for Celtic whilst giving him some time to think about his next move.
That would be ideal for Celtic, as it would give them a few months to consider a replacement for their star striker, but that may not stop them from receiving offers for Dembele next month.
Everton are certainly in the market having failed to replace Romelu Lukaku over the summer, and that may leave them weighing up whether to wait for Dembele next summer, or move for somebody else in January.
