Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele could stay this summer, but his departure may not be long off.

There was a great deal of speculation over Dembele’s future at Spurs this summer, with the midfielder having just one year left on his contract.
The Belgian was linked with moves to both Italy and China, but it seems that he is now set to stay.
Dembele sticking around has gone down well with Tottenham fans, but it may only be for another four months.
The powerful midfielder is now expected to leave in January, according to the Mail.

If Dembele does leave in the new year that could threaten to be an error from Spurs.
Dembele showed his importance to the team yet again on Monday evening, when Spurs beat Manchester United 3-0.
Dembele started in midfield for the first time this season, and was imperious in the centre of the pitch.
And if Spurs do sell him with just six months left on his contract, they may not be able to demand the sort of money that a midfielder of his quality is worth in the current market.
