According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho intends to axe defender Juan Foyth this summer.
It’s claimed that Foyth is one of three players Tottenham plan to sell this summer, alongside Serge Aurier and Tanguy Ndombele.
Mourinho may need to flog some players to raise funds for new signings, whilst offloading non-homegrown players would also help Spurs in the market.
ESPN noted last month that Foyth wants to stay at Tottenham and fight for his place rather than leave the club this summer.
The 22-year-old was a favourite of Mauricio Pochettino, having been lured to North London by his fellow Argentinian in 2017.
Foyth was a top talent in Argentina with Estudiantes, but has only shown his quality in fits and starts at Tottenham.

When Pochettino was sacked in November, Foyth’s playing time nosedived; he played just 135 minutes under Jose Mourinho before the end of the season.
The Sun’s report suggests that Leeds United could be an option for Foyth, as they have been linked a number of times in recent months.
However, they have just signed Robin Koch, so it’s hard to see them going for Foyth right now, especially with Josko Gvardiol a top target according to Sportske Novosti.
