According to The Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of young defender Malachi Fagan-Walcott.
Mourinho has given Europa League minutes to Dane Scarlett, Nile John and Marcel Lavinier of late, whilst Alfie Devine is also around first-team proceedings.
Don’t be surprised if Fagan-Walcott steps up too in the future, as it’s stated that the teenage defender is ‘popular’ with Mourinho.
Fagan-Walcott, 18, hails from nearby Edmonton and joined the Spurs ranks back in 2015, signing a first pro deal back in 2018.
Spurs aren’t blessed with great quality at centre back, and the teenager may well have dreams of becoming Mourinho’s go-to man in the future.
Mourinho did give Fagan-Walcott a Champions League debut against RB Leipzig last season, bringing him on as a substitute.

An injury held Fagan-Walcott back, but Mourinho remains a fan and has allowed him to join Dundee on loan for the rest of the season.
When he comes back, Fagan-Walcott could find himself in contention for playing time just like Scarlett, John, Lavinier and Devine.
