Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is said to be willing to give Jack Clarke a chance to prove himself next season, by the London Evening Standard.
Clarke has rather become the forgotten man at Tottenham, after being signed by Mauricio Pochettino for £10 million last summer (Guardian).
The youngster is still yet to make his Spurs debut, after being sent out on two rather unproductive loan spells last term.
Clarke spent time at Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers, but failed to break into either of their starting line-ups on a regular basis.
There are now concerns about Clarke’s development at Tottenham, but Mourinho is eager to give the 20-year-old a chance to prove his worth in pre-season.

And if Clarke can catch the eye of the Portuguese boss he may just be given an opportunity in the first-team.
Mourinho has already promoted Japhet Tanganga to becoming a first-team regular, and seems to have big plans to use Oliver Skipp and Dennis Cirkin more regularly in the future.
