Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks could look to leave in January, unless Jose Mourinho starts picking him more, the Telegraph suggest.
Winks has struggled for game time at Tottenham this season, after falling out of favour.
The England international started in Tottenham’s first three Premier League games of the season, but he has not been picked in Mourinho’s XI for a league match since.
With Pierre Emile Hojbjerg arriving and Tanguy Ndombele improving, Mourinho has been unable to find a way to get Winks into his side.
And the midfielder said: “My situation at Tottenham is difficult at the moment and it’s important that I keep fighting and working as hard as I can to stay in the squad and to stay in the team.”
The Telegraph now say that Winks is so concerned about not playing at Tottenham that he could look to leave in January.

Whether that stance will cause Mourinho to pick the 24-year-old, who Mauricio Pochettino called ‘amazing’ on the club’s official website in 2019, more often remains to be seen.
At the moment it is difficult to see Winks breaking back into Spurs’s squad, as when he has been offered opportunities he hasn’t always impressed.
Winks’s form in the Europa League has been rather indifferent, with the deep-lying playmaker struggling to really impose himself on games.
Tottenham actually fought off interest in Winks from Manchester City in the summer (The Sun), but they may be more willing to sell him in the new year, if the player does push for a move.
