According to Football.London, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho really appreciates how Tanguy Ndombele is trying to fit in at the club.
Spurs beat Manchester City 2-0 on Saturday evening, with Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso finding the net in an impressive win.
That’s twice now that Jose Mourinho has beaten Pep Guardiola 2-0 in 2020, but this win was even more impressive than the one earlier this year.
Ndombele produced another fine performance, which started with him picking a superb pass for Son to race through and score.
His ability on the ball has never been in doubt, as he can go past a man so easily skill or a drop of the shoulder, with his quality in tight spaces just so impressive.
Some thought that the Frenchman may leave Tottenham over the summer having been criticised by Mourinho last season, whilst often being left out of the side.

Now though, it’s claimed that Mourinho appreciates everything Ndombele is doing to fit in at Tottenham, and gave him a ‘warm embrace’ as he was taken off for Lo Celso.
Let’s hope that Ndombele can continue this form and show what a star he is, as he can truly be Mousa Dembele’s heir if he continues to develop and work hard.
