Brandon Austin is still training with Tottenham Hotspur’s senior side, despite the arrival of Joe Hart, according to Football London.

Austin has effectively been made fourth choice at Tottenham following the arrival of Hart.

But Jose Mourinho has kept the youngster around the first-team squad at Spurs for now.

There are still hopes that Austin could develop into a potentially useful option for Spurs in the future, but it could be that a loan move is best for his development.

The academy graduate appears to have very little chance of breaking into Mourinho’s side this term, with Hugo Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga also at the club.

Austin got his first taste of regular football earlier this year, when he was loaned out to Viborg in Denmark.

Austin’s only other game time has come for Tottenham’s development side, and he is still yet to make his debut for the North London club.
