It has been reported by the French publication that Juventus want to sign the France international midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Italian champions were ready to use Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi in a deal to sign Ndombele, but head coach Mourinho has turned it down.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss wants the 23-year-old to stay at Tottenham this season, according to the report.
Sensible decision?
Ndombele had fitness issues last season, and the France international did not have a great campaign on a personal level.
However, the 23-year-old is a very good player who could get better in the coming years.
Giving up on the Frenchman after just one season does not make sense, and it is great of Mourinho to reportedly keep the midfielder despite interest from Juventus.
If clubs like Juventus are interested in Ndombele, then it shows just how good the midfielder is.
