Manchester United came out on top but Mourinho was not happy with the young striker.
A report in The Sun has claimed that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was furious with Marcus Rashford following his 18-minute appearance in the club’s win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
The Red Devils handed their top four hopes a boost with a valuable 1-0 win over Spurs at Old Trafford. But while Mourinho may have been happy with the majority of the squad, one player seemingly failed to meet the expected standard.

The 19-year-old came on with less than 20 minutes to go, but ultimately failed to make much of an impact, prompting Mourinho to let the youngster know after the game how disappointed he has been with his recent form, The Sun claims.
The Sun adds that the United boss fears that the England forward has got carried away with the hype surrounding him and lost focus.

While it is inevitable that younger players – strikers in particular – will endure dry spells, it is perhaps fair to say that Rashford has looked much less impressive this term than he did when he burst onto the scene in incredible fashion last season.
The striker has not scored since the victory over Leicester back in September, but will now be hoping to show his manager exactly what he is capable of in the coming weeks.
