Manchester United are reportedly considering halting their interest in Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose.

Sessegnon is undoubtedly one of the brightest talents coming through in the Football League right now. He has scored 14 goals in the Championship this season, while he has also provided five assists for the promotion-chasing Cottagers.

His form even led some supporters to suggest that the 17-year-old needs to be considered for a call-up to England national team for the upcoming international break – while he did not get selected by Gareth Southgate, he has been included in the under-21 side.

The Sun adds that Sessegnon may well become the priority for Mourinho which would bring a halt to their long-term interest in Rose, but may leave Pochettino in an interesting position given that Spurs have also had their eye on the Fulham starlet.
Dilemma for Poch?
Rose has been excellent over the last few years, but Sessegnon appears to have the potential to be one of the finest players the country has produced in quite some time, so it may be worth Pochettino considering whether now is the time to cash in on Rose to strengthen their bid to land Sessegnon.
If selling Rose to Old Trafford leaves the path clear for Tottenham to sign the Fulham ace, then letting Mourinho finally bag Rose’s signature may not be a bad move at all – provided that he is still on the Manchester United boss’ radar in the summer.
