The Barcelona ace is a reported transfer target for Manchester United.

According to a report from Spanish publication Sport, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has personally contacted Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti over the possibility of him swapping the Camp Nou for Old Trafford in the summer.
Mourinho is expected to embark on another huge spending spree this summer, as he looks to build a squad capable of pushing their bitter rivals Manchester City all the way for the Premier League title next season.
Central defence seems to be a key area where the Portuguese wants to improve upon, with a mass clear-out expected in the summer.

According to the Mirror, United want to sell both Chris Smalling and Phil Jones before the start of next season, and bring in at least two world-class centre-backs.
The Express claim that Barcelona’s Umtiti is a key summer target for the Red Devils.
Spanish publication Sport have gone one step further this morning by suggesting that Mourinho has contacted the France international personally, in a bid to convince him to join United.

They claim that United are prepared to pay his £52.6 million release clause, and will offer the Frenchman a contract worth £8 million per year.
Umtiti, 24, would be a fabulous signing for the Red Devils, if they manage to get a deal for him over the line this summer.
