According to the Standard, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has agreed to loan out Oliver Skipp with Southampton, Burnley, Fulham and Nottingham Forest all keen.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been on the fringes this season.

Skipp made seven Premier League appearances, while also featuring twice as a substitute in the Champions League and starting two domestic cup games.

The midfielder recently penned a new four-year deal with Spurs, but he is keen to start playing regular first-team football with Mourinho reluctantly agreeing to loan him out.

The Standard claim a host of clubs are keen, with Fulham leading the race.

The Whites look set to contend the Championship playoff final against either Swansea City or Brentford after taking a 2-0 first-leg lead over Cardiff City.

Scott Parker’s side’s intentions may depend on what league they are in next season.

Fellow Premier League sides Southampton and Burnley are also monitoring Skipp.

The Saints enjoyed an excellent run of form during project restart, with Spurs right-back Kyle Walkers-Peters a regular in the side during his loan spell at St. Mary’s.

Burnley, on the other hand, could be looking for a replacement for Jeff Hendrick who is set to leave the Clarets following the expiration of his contract.

But Skipp’s best shot of regular first-team football could be at a top Championship club.

Forest extraordinarily missed out on a playoff spot on the final game of the season. However, the Reds will be expected to push again next season.

Forest could view Skipp as an alternative to Ben Watson who turned 35 this month.
