Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela could be offered a new deal with Jose Mourinho ‘adoring’ the player, Football London suggest.
Lamela’s contract at Tottenham is due to expire in 2022, and there are question marks over whether he stay will be extended.
Lamela has spent eight years at Spurs, but never quite made it to be a regular starter.
That being said, he does seem to be a player who Mourinho trusts.
The Portuguese boss has often brought Lamela off the bench this term, and has even started him ahead of the likes of Gareth Bale on occasion.
His Tottenham future is sure to come under the microscope this summer, as this could be the last chance for the North London club to raise a big sum for the wide-man.

But Football London suggest that there is a real possibility that he is offered new terms.
That update will likely be greeted with mixed opinions among Tottenham supporters.
While Lamela does offer a solid option off the bench for Tottenham, there may be some supporters feeling that Spurs would be better off offloading him and bringing in a younger player, with a potentially higher ceiling than the Argentine.
