Everton are reportedly set for a huge overhaul this summer.
According to The Mirror, Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri will strike an agreement with agent Mino Raiola this summer to aid the club’s transfer business.
The Toffees, who drew 1-1 at Swansea City on Saturday afternoon, have endured a difficult season despite their spending last summer, first sacking Ronald Koeman back in October and then appointing Sam Allardyce, who is far from popular at Goodison Park.
With a top eight finish far from likely, Everton have fallen well short of expectations this season, and it now seems that Moshiri is far from happy, and is planning major changes this summer.
The Mirror report that Moshiri is set to axe both manager Allardyce and director of football Steve Walsh, with two major exits planned and possibly more to come, given that Allardyce brought in Craig Shakespeare and Sammy Lee as his coaching team.
It’s also claimed that Moshiri will bring super-agent Mino Raiola on board too, with the Italian-born Dutchman set to strike an agreement in which he will help Everton strike deals in the transfer market.
Known for his work representing the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba, Mario Balotelli and even ex-Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, Raiola has become one of the most powerful agents in world football in recent years.
With Everton set to land PSV Eindhoven chief Marcel Brands to take over from Walsh, Raiola will seemingly aid the Toffees in their bids to secure big deals – and that may just hand fans something to get excited about this summer.
