Monaco want the Celtic marksman, according to reports in France.
According to Le10 Sport, Monaco have identified Celtic hitman Moussa Dembele as a potential replacement for linked-away Kylian Mbappe.
The 21-year-old striker has been linked with a move away from Celtic for much of the summer transfer window, but the news that he is out injured until September appears to have quelled much of the speculation regarding his future.

That is not the case for Mbappe, however, as the 18-year-old looks set to finally leave the Principality after being left out of their squad to face Metz tomorrow, according to The Express.
And Le10 Sport have reported that Dembele, who scored 30 goals for Celtic last season, is on a three or four-man shortlist to replace his compatriot at Stade Louis II this month.
If true, it is either bad news for Celtic, or great news.
On one hand the Hoops’ faithful won’t want to lose such a prolific goalscorer, having played a huge role in their domestic treble last term.
But if Monaco sell Mbappe then they would have up to £161 million in the coffers, according to The Telegraph, and Brendan Rodgers can effectively name his price in the knowledge that the Ligue 1 champions are desperate.
