Monaco are reportedly keen on Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.

According to L’Equipe, Monaco are chasing a deal for Porto winger Yacine Brahimi after talks over a move to West Ham United broke down last week.
Monaco have again lost key players this summer as Fabinho, Thomas Lemar and Keita Balde Diao, but have at least managed to bring in Willem Geubbels, Jean-Eudes Aholou and Aleksandr Golovin.
Keita completed his loan move to Inter Milan today, and that means that Monaco are in the market for another winger to replace him, with one player emerging as a top target already.
L’Equipe report that Monaco are chasing a deal for Porto star Yacine Brahimi, with the report noting that talks over a move to West Ham United broke down last week.
Brahimi, 28, has been a star for Porto ever since a 2014 move from Granada, notching 41 goals in 166 games for the Portuguese club whilst also hitting 11 goals in 39 caps for Algeria.
A skilful wide man with outstanding dribbling and ball control, West Ham were looking to add him to Manuel Pellegrini’s squad before the transfer deadline, but couldn’t seal a deal.

Now, with the English deadline passed, Monaco are in the box seat for Brahimi’s signature, and will hope for more success in talks for his signature than West Ham.
With his contract expiring in 2019, Monaco may land themselves a sensible deal for Brahimi, offering him a move to follow in the footsteps of Joao Mourinho, James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao.
