Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Rui Pedro Braz but the Benfica sporting director isn’t expected to leave.
The Mirror reported on Wednesday that Tottenham had identified Braz as a potential replacement for Fabio Paratici.
This followed on from their claims in February that Braz was on the Tottenham radar just in case Paratici moved on.
The Italian has since left Tottenham after being hit with a worldwide ban by FIFA from his time at Juventus.
Tottenham must now find a replacement and there have been links to the likes of Johannes Spors and Lee Dykes.
Braz has been suggested but the Portuguese media don’t believe that a move to North London is on the cards.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola report that the reports from England don’t ‘correspond to reality’.
They claim that Braz is focused on Benfica’s upcoming transfer window and seemingly isn’t expecting to move on to Tottenham any time soon.

Who is Rui Pedro Braz?
Braz was an analyst on Portuguese TV for 10 years before somehow finding himself in charge of transfers at arguably Portugal’s biggest club.
Braz joined Benfica in 2021 as he jumped from TV to the boardroom.
O Jogo have described Braz as a ‘miracle sporting director’ having made millions at Benfica in a sport space of time.
Darwin Nunez was the first major exit as Braz sold him to Liverpool in a deal worth up to £85million.
Benfica raked in even more cash in January as they sold Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea for a staggering £106.8million.
Braz signed him from River Plate for just £10million last summer and turned him into huge profit in just a matter of months.
Tottenham may well be impressed with Braz’s work inside two years at Benfica, but a deal looks a little tricky.
