Sheffield Wednesday have already signed one Dutch player this week.

Sheffield Wednesday will not be signing Feyenoord left-back Miquel Nelom, it would appear.
Wednesday, who signed fellow Dutchman Joey Pelupessy, a defensive midfielder, from Heracles Almelo on Thursday, were also linked with a move for Nelom this week.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported on Friday, however, that Nelom has ‘returned disappointed from a failed transfer’ to Hillsborough – although no explanation is given for said failure.
The 27-year-old, who, like Pelupessy was, is out of contract at the end of the campaign, was also said to be interesting Wednesday’s Championship rivals Birmingham City. The Blues, however, are not mentioned in De Telegraaf’s latest report.
Morgan Fox, Daniel Pudil and Adam Reach have all appeared at left-back for the Owls this season, although it could be argued the addition of Nelom, who has two caps for the Netherlands and started Feyenoord’s Champions League encounter with Manchester City last September, would have improved that part of Jos Luhukay’s team.

Luhukay, who began work as Sheffield Wednesday manager last Monday, hinted on Thursday that he will continue to look into deals for players whose contracts have less than six months left to run.
Would Nelom be a good signing for Sheffield Wednesday?
