Millwall, Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers could all be involved in late window deals.

Millwall have rejected a £6 million offer from Middlesbrough for midfield duo George Saville and Jed Wallace, according to the Sun’s printed edition (Thursday 9th August, page 55). And the newspaper claims the Lions are ‘mulling a move’ for Conor Washington, the Queens Park Rangers striker.
HITC Sport reported on Wednesday that Middlesbrough had launched a combined bid for Saville and Wallace, who played in Millwall’s 2-2 draw with Tony Pulis’s side on Saturday.
Whether an improved offer will materialise ahead of today’s 5pm transfer deadline remains to be seen, however.
Winger Wallace could help to fill the void left by Adama Traore’s departure at Middlesbrough, while Saville could slip into the role vacated by Muhamed Besic, the former Everton loanee.

Millwall may fare better with their own pursuit, with Washington an unused substitute in QPR’s opening day defeat against Preston North End.
Unlike Saville and Wallace, who have two years left on their contracts at Millwall, Washington recently entered the final 12 months of his QPR deal.
The three clubs can still sign players on loan – with permanent options permitted – up to and including August 31st.
