Millwall have been linked with Nottingham Forest’s Luke Steele.

According to the South London Press, Millwall are in talks with Nottingham Forest over a deal to sign Luke Steele on loan.
The Lions lost goalkeepers David Martin, Jordan Archer and Ben Amos this summer, leaving manager Neil Harris needing to bring in at least two new goalkeepers ahead of the Championship opener.
Bartosz Bialkowski and Frank Fielding both joined the club, but the latter suffered a quad injury in the opening day victory over Preston North End, leaving Millwall short on experienced back-up options.
Steele joined Forest 12 months ago after being released by Bristol City, signing a two-year deal, but he only ended up making one Championship appearance as Costel Pantilimon held the number one spot.
Forest have since signed Arijanet Muric on loan from Manchester City, pushing Steele further down the pecking order with the 34-year-old unlikely to make another appearance before his contract expires next summer.

Steele is a former England U20 international and has bags of experience. He spent three years at Greek side Panathinaikos before returning to England to feature with Bristol City.
Millwall likely see him as an ideal short-term cover for Bialkowski, with the Pole expected to retain the number one shirt following his summer move from relegated Ipswich Town.
