According to FC Inter News, Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar won’t be moving to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
It’s claimed that Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of Skriniar, and wanted to bring him to Manchester United during the 2018 summer transfer window.
The Slovakian had been put forward as a potential swap for Tanguy Ndombele, with Inter keen to lure him over to Milan this summer.
However, Skriniar allegedly doesn’t plan to leave the San Siro, and isn’t attracted by Tottenham given that they don’t have Champions League football.
Skriniar views Inter as the club for him right now and in the future, so Mourinho will have to look elsewhere for a new centre back.
The report adds that Marcelo Brozovic or Ivan Perisic may be offered in exchange for Ndombele instead, with Skriniar seemingly off the table.

It’s truthfully hard to see Ndombele leaving Spurs this summer, as they will surely want to give him at least one more season in the Premier League.
The Frenchman’s stock is far lower than it was a year ago, and Spurs almost need to stick with him in an attempt to recover some of his value rather than ditch him now.
