Arsenal could be on the look out for a new manager sooner rather than later, unless Unai Emery sparks a dramatic improvement.

Big questions are being asked over whether Arsenal have made progress under Emery, during his time in charge in North London.
The Spaniard’s Arsenal side are already six points behind the top four this season, and their are increasing concerns over their performances.
Emery is not said to be under immediately danger of losing his job, but the pressure is building on him.
If Arsenal do part company with Emery it is claimed that Arteta could be a candidate to take over.
Arteta has no managerial experience so far, but has earned rave reviews as a coach at Manchester City.
Arteta is currently working as Pep Guardiola’s assistant, and is very highly regarded.
Arteta, of course, excelled at Arsenal during his playing days and his links to the club could give him an advantage over other candidates.
Indeed Arsene Wenger backed Arteta for the job back in 2018, before Emery was appointed.

He said to the Telegraph: “He has all the qualities to do the job, yes, and I think as well he is one of the favourites.
“He was a leader, and he has a good passion for the game and he knows the club well, he knows what is important at the club and he was captain of the club. Why not?”
If Arteta did take over at Arsenal it would be a major gamble for the Gunners, given his lack of experience, but it could help unite supporters.
Emery is rapidly losing support at the Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal’s form over recent weeks very poor.
