RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai does not fancy a move to Arsenal, according to 90min.

It has been reported that the Gunners are interested in signing Szoboszlai from Salzburg in the January transfer window.

Although the 20-year-old respects Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta, he does not think that the Gunners would be his best choice, as they are not competing for the Premier League title and are struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

Blow for Arsenal

Szoboszlai is a very talented and promising young midfielder who is a rising star in European football.

According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old has scored four goals in 10 Austrian Bundesliga appearances and has scored two goals in six Champions League games so far this season.

Arsenal could do with a dynamic and creative midfielder such as Szoboszlai in their team, and the youngster would be a good signing for the Gunners.

However, it seems that the Hungary international midfielder does not fancy a move to Arsenal.

The Guardian has reported that RB Leipzig are leading the race for the 20-year-old midfielder, who is also on the radar of AC Milan.
