Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to sign Adama Traore from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Traore has a release clause of £18m in his contract, and that Middlesbrough will not sell anything less.
Earlier on Monday, The Express & Star reported that Wolves – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – already have had a bid turned down by Middlesbrough.
Worth the £18m release clause?
Traore is a very talented and promising young winger, and the former Barcelona youngster also has experience of playing in the Premier League with Villa.
The 22-year-old needs to work on his finishing and also has to make better decisions on the pitch, but there is no doubt that the Spaniard has quality.

While Traore could be worth the investment of £18m in the long run, what Wolves need is someone to make an instant impact.
It will be a risk for the Wanderers to pay £18m for Traore, as the Spanish winger has not exactly been a huge success at Middlesbrough and did not convince everyone when he was at Villa.
