West Ham United are said to be keen to snap up Adama Traore from Middlesbrough this month.

According to a report in the Northern Echo, Tony Pulis wants to keep hold of Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore, despite interest from West Ham United.

David Moyes’ side are looking for a right-sided winger this month, and have reportedly identified Traore as a target to bring to the London Stadium.

However, West Ham could be left disappointed, as Pulis wants to keep the former Barcelona man at the Riverside Stadium.

Traore has been one of the most improved players at Boro since Pulis took charge, and the Championship side have no desire to sell the 21-year-old.

Traore remains a raw talent, but there is a feeling that he could develop into a star of the future at Boro.

West Ham may, therefore, have to look at other targets, as Moyes looks to upgrade his attacking options.

West Ham are yet to make an addition this January, but Moyes is thought to have funds to spend.
