The Sunderland goalkeeper is said to be one of the options Middlesbrough are considering.

Middlesbrough are being credited with interest in the Sunderland goalkeeper, Jon McLaughin.
According to Teamtalk, McLaughlin is one of the options Middlesbrough are considering in the event that Darren Randolph leaves.
The website claims Randolph is at the top of Stoke City’s list of Jack Butland replacements, with Boro ‘not in a position to turn down a generous offer for any of their squad’.
Middlesbrough are the second club linked with McLaughlin in quick succession, after Millwall.

According to the Sun on Sunday, the Lions are ready to offer Sunderland £1 million for the Scotland international.
But the newspaper claims Sunderland want £5 million for the player they signed for free last summer.
And the Mackems owner, Stewart Donald, has since insisted that McLaughlin won’t be sold.
The 32-year-old recently entered the final year of his contract, however, leaving Sunderland at risk of losing him for nothing last summer.
