Middlesbrough are interested in signing Luke Freeman from Queens Park Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.

It has been reported that Middlesbrough are mulling a bid for former Arsenal prospect Freeman.

Good signing for Middlesbrough?

Freeman is a very good midfielder and knows the Championship inside out, and the former England Under-17 international would be a very good signing for Middlesbrough.

Boro, who will be aiming to challenge for the Championship playoffs this season, need creativity in their midfield department.

The 26-year-old has been a success in the division with Bristol City and QPR.

During the 2017-18 campaign, Freeman scored five goals and provided 12 assists in 43 Championship starts for QPR, according to WhoScored.

Middlesbrough have not been too busy in the summer transfer window and have made only two major signings – Aden Flint from Bristol City and Paddy McNair from Sunderland.

Boro do have a strong team, but Pulis’s team could do with one or two more new signings in order to make the squad better.
