Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton has been linked with Tony Pulis’s Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis is considering making a move for the 33-year-old right-back.
Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen are also claimed to be interested in the former Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur right-back.

Hutton is a very experienced footballer and knows the Championship and the Premier League inside out.
The Scotsman has started 16 Championship games for Steve Bruce’s side so far this season, and it is hard to see the Villans letting him go in the middle of the campaign.

After all, the Villans are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season and are very much in the race for the playoffs.
Hutton would be a good signing for Middlesbrough, but Pulis’s side will probably have to wait until the summer of 2018 in order to secure his services.
