Middlesbrough are reportedly keen on signing the Everton pair.
Middlesbrough completed the loan signing of Jordan Hugill from West Ham today, and according to a report from the Northern Echo, Tony Pulis’ business is far from finished, with a double deal for Everton duo Mo Besic and Yannick Bolasie on the agenda.
Boro have begun this season in decent form, taking four points from their opening two Championship games, but it is clear that Pulis quite simply must strengthen his options before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, if he is to guide his side back to the Premier League this season.
According to a report from the Sun, Everton want £15 million for Bolasie, 29, whilst the Northern Echo claims that the Toffees value Besic at around £12 million.
Whilst Middlesbrough would like both players on permanent deals, they are unlikely to be able to afford the reported fees for both players, so loan deals for the Everton pair might be better suited for the Teesside outfit.
Both players would undoubtedly strengthen Middlesbrough, and whether Pulis manages to bring them in on either permanent or temporary deals, the rest of the squad will surely receive a huge boost if the Premier League duo do eventually arrive at the Riverside Stadium.
