Middlesbrough have been handed a big boost ahead of their clash with Aston Villa on Saturday, with the Express & Star reporting that key Villa man Albert Adomah is a major doubt for this weekend’s match.
The 30-year-old has been in superb form for his club this season, racking up 11 goals in 20 Championship outings for Steve Bruce’s side, but he suffered a dead leg during their defeat to Brentford on Boxing Day, and was subsequently taken off after just 18 minutes.
Saturday’s game at the Riverside will be a hugely important one for both sides, as they look to force their way back inside the promotion play-off spots.

Tony Pulis’ side have won their last two league games, whilst Villa are without a win in five, and both sides sit three points adrift of the top six.
