Middlesbrough, Derby County and Aston Villa are all keen on Marcus Maddison.

Maddison has been left out of Peterborough United’s pre-season tour, and he did not feature in Steve Evans’ side first game of the season, amid speculation over his future.
Villa, Middlesbrough and Derby are now all said to be planning late moves for the winger.
Maddison is understood to be valued at £2.5 million by Posh, with Darragh MacAnthony telling the player that he would sell him to a Championship side this summer, following Peterborough’s failure to get promoted last season.
Villa, Middlesbrough and Derby are now all keen to bring in the League One assist-king.

Villa have had a slow transfer window so far, but appear to be making moves now their new owners have arrived, with Maddison a long-term target of Steve Bruce’s.
Derby, meanwhile, have already done business with Posh this summer, after bringing in Jack Marriott.
Middlesbrough could also be looking for a replacement for Adama Traore, who looks set to depart, and Maddison could fit the bill for Tony Pulis.
Preston North End and Wigan Athletic are also said to be keen on Maddison by TeamTalk.
