Middlesbrough have reportedly agreed a deal for Birmingham City defender Ryan Shotton.
Boro have gone through a massive rebuilding process this summer, with Garry Monk making necessary additions, quickly and effectively.
The former Leeds United manager has brought in a completely new attacking unit, and the defence will be bolstered, should Shotton join the club.

The report claims that a deal has been agreed for Shotton, who made 43 appearances for Birmingham City last season. The Midlands club are currently holding firm on completing the transfer forms.
Birmingham manager Harry Redknapp, reportedly wants to sign a replacement before allowing Shotton to move to Teesside.
Shotton will be a very good signing for the club. He is a versatile defender, who can comfortably operate in a number of positions.
He is primarily a right-back, but is capable enough to play as a centre-back. Furthermore, he can use his 6 ft 3in height effectively to play as a make-shift centre-forward.
Boro are also interested in Sporting Lisbon defender Ezequiel Schelotto, according to The Sun, but Burnley are favourites to sign him.
