Michael Duffy is yet to play a single game for Celtic but could soon be on his way out of Parkhead.
A report in The Scottish Sun has suggested that Michael Duffy’s Celtic career could come to an end imminently and before he makes a single appearance for the Hoops.
Duffy moved to Parkhead in 2015 but is yet to play for the Bhoys’ first-team, having spent a fair amount of his time since moving to Scotland out on loan, firstly with Alloa and then with Dundee.

However, his days at Celtic could be numbered as The Scottish Sun suggests that Dundalk are interested in handing Duffy the chance to come back to Ireland, and the Hoops hierarchy are willing to sanction a deal.
The Scottish Sun adds that Celtic are willing to let Duffy leave the club on loan, or permanently provided that they receive a similar amount to what they paid for him nearly two years ago, which was around £100,000.

Duffy will undoubtedly be disappointed if he ultimately ends up leaving the Scottish Premiership leaders once again, despite the fact that a switch to Dundalk could enhance his chances of enjoying more first-team football.
The 22-year-old would have surely moved to Celtic Park with ambitions of winning trophies and helping the side establish themselves in the Champions League. However, it now appears that he may not be given the chance.
