Rangers manager Michael Beale does not want the Ibrox club to sell Glen Kamara in the January transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones in GiveMeSport.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Rangers plan to keep Kamara at Ibrox beyond the January transfer window.
New Rangers manager Beale likes the former Arsenal prospect and wants to make him an important member of his team, according to Jones.
Earlier this month, The Daily Record reported that French club Nantes want to sign the 27-year-old and are willing to pay £27 million in transfer fees for the Finland international midfielder, described as “elite” by Beale in The Glasgow Evening Times.
According to Tutto Salernitana, clubs in La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A all are keen on Kamara.
Michael Beale wants Glen Kamara stay at Rangers
Jones said: “Rangers plan to keep Glen Kamara for now and aren’t actually expecting too much interest in him in January from what I’ve been told.

“Beale really likes him and would probably look to utilise him while he gets things settled.”
Sensible stance
In our opinion, it would make sense for Rangers to keep Glen Kamara until the end of the season at least.
The 27-year-old did not have the best of times under Giovanni van Bronckhorst this season, but we know that he is a very good midfielder who is rated highly by Beale.
In the coming weeks and months, we could see the former Dundee star get back to his best.
The 27-year-old has made four starts and four substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership, and made one start and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Rangers this season.
