Everton and AS Roma are reportedly interested in signing Memphis Depay from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Manchester United forward Memphis Depay wants to carry on playing in the Premier League, according to The Liverpool Echo.
It has been reported that Everton and AS Roma are interested in signing Depay from United in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old forward reportedly prefers a move to Everton, who allegedly want to secure the services of the Netherlands international on a permanent contract.
“Depay is also wanted by Roma but it is believed that a move to Merseyside, which would allow him to remain at his home in Greater Manchester, is his preferred option,” states the report in The Liverpool Echo.
“It is also understood that both the 22-year-old attacker and Koeman would favour a permanent deal over a loan switch.”
Koeman recently stated that he is interested in signing Depay from United in the January transfer window.
As quoted by The Mirror, the Everton manager said that if there is any opportunity to recruit the 22-year-old forward, then he will be interested.

The former PSV attacker has featured in only four Premier League matches for the Red Devils so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Depay scored two goals and created 12 chances in 29 league games for United.
The Red Devils had to pay PSV a transfer fee of £25 million in the summer of 2015 in order to secure the services of the Dutchman, as reported by The Guardian.
United are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment, while Everton are currently seventh in the standings.
