The Manchester United player could be heading for pastures new this month.
According to a report from French publication L’Equipe, Manchester United winger Memphis Depay has agreed personal terms with Lyon ahead of a potential January move.
However, there is one final hurdle to clear in terms of a transfer fee, with United holding firm to ensure they get as much as possible for the Dutch international.

L’Equipe claims that after two rejected bids – of £10.4million and £13million – Lyon have returned with a third offer of £14.7million.
That is still considerably less than United paid PSV Eindhoven for Depay after a superb goal-scoring campaign in the Eredivisie, but such has been the player’s dip in form that they may have to take a sizeable loss if they are to part company with him this month.

The report claims Depay has agreed a deal with Lyon until the summer of 2019, but that negotiations with United are ongoing after their latest bid, which was submitted on Tuesday.
It is claimed talks are complicated. However there is still plenty of time to get a deal over the line and Lyon certainly seem keen to take him permanently, rather than in a loan deal that United were said to be against.
