Everton and West Ham United are reportedly talking to Maxime Gonalons.

According to L’Equipe, Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons is in talks with both Everton and West Ham United about a summer move.
Gonalons, 30, made his name with Lyon, but has struggled since making a 2017 move to Roma, suffering a number of injury problems in recent years.
After just 16 league appearances, Roma sent Gonalons to Sevilla last summer, and he’s started just five league games for them, again suffering injury woes.
It’s now claimed that Sevilla won’t sign Gonalons permanently, but he’s already in talks with Everton and West Ham about a move to the Premier League this summer.
At his best, Gonalons is a well-rounded defensive midfielder, possessing strength, a fine passing range and a great reading of the game to protect his defence.
That may make him an option for both Everton and West Ham, in terms of offering experienced cover for Idrissa Gueye and Declan Rice respectively.

However, his best days are some time ago now, and having suffered so many injuries – five major injuries in the last two years – both clubs should tread carefully when making a move for the former France international.
Gonalons doesn’t really fit the mould of a Marcel Brands target given his age and injury woes, so it would be a major surprise to see him arrive at Goodison Park, more so than if he joined the Hammers.
