The Celta Vigo ace would allegedly be keen on the chance of joining Liverpool.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Celta Vigo hitman Maxi Gomez would jump at the chance to join Liverpool in the summer.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form in Spain this season, racking up nine goals and five assists in 23 La Liga outings thus far.
He was heavily linked with a move to West Ham in January, with Sky Sports reporting that the east London outfit were close to securing a £40 million deal for the striker.
Could the Uruguayan be aiming higher than the Hammers, however?
Mundo Deportivo suggest that Liverpool are keen on signing Gomez, and they suggest that the forward would move to Anfield ‘with his eyes shut’.

The striker is a real powerhouse, and his energy and enthusiasm would make him ideally suited to the way in which the Reds play.
And for the reported fee of £40 million, he could turn out to be a real coup for Liverpool, if Jürgen Klopp does in fact bring him to Merseyside in the summer.
