Italian outlet TuttoUdinese claim both Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio and Serie A champions AC Milan want to sign Arsenal outcast Pablo Mari this summer. Mari spent the second half of last season on loan at Udinese.
Mari, 28, joined Udinese after just three appearances for Arsenal during the first half of the 2021-22 campaign. He impressed at Udinese, playing 15 times and scoring twice. They nabbed 20 points in his 15 outings.

His influence is clear. Udinese only managed 27 points from the 23 games without Mari. Udinese won five of their 11 games with Mari in the side. Little surprise, there is now bigger interest from other Serie A clubs.
Ex-Chelsea boss Sarri wants him at Lazio, while Serie A champions Milan are also showing interest. Bought for £14million (Mail), it is unclear how much Arsenal would want for him. He opened the door to a move in May.
Lazio and Milan want Arsenal outcast Mari
Mari needs to leave Arsenal this summer. While he does have a contract until 2024, he has little future at Arsenal with Ben White, Gabriel, Rob Holding and Takehiro Tomiyasu ahead of him in the pecking order.
How much would Arsenal charge? They are hardly going to get the £14million they paid to sign the Spaniard from Flamengo. But a deal close to £10million is certainly achievable, especially after his excellent Udinese loan.
A move to Lazio would see Mari have a much better chance of being first choice, than if he was to go to Milan. But both are better than remaining at The Emirates, for Mari – once branded a “leader” by Mikel Arteta.
