Real Madrid have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Just when Tottenham Hotspur fans thought that Real Madrid have given up on Mauricio Pochettino…
On Saturday evening, COPE and well-known Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague reported that Madrid had ended their interest in appointing Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino as their manager.
Sky Sports had earlier claimed of interest in the former Southampton manager from the Spanish and European giants.

However, a new report in The Times today claims that Pochettino wants to leave Tottenham for Madrid this summer.
According to the report, the Argentine has made it clear to the Champions League winners that he is ready to succeed Zinedine Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Times has also calmed that Pochettino hopes that an agreement between Tottenham and Madrid can be reached.

Departure possible?
Pochettino seems happy at Tottenham, and it is hard to see the Argentine leave for Madrid this summer.
Even if the former Southampton manager did want to switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, it is going to be hard for Madrid to negotiate a deal with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who is going to find it tough to appoint a suitable replacement and may not sanction a move.
